Brewing Basics: The French Press

Posted on

Brewing technologies have advanced greatly over the years with Keurigs – 29% of American coffee drinkers report using a single-cup brewer to prepare their morning brew. But what about those of us who may not have the budget, space or time to brew a quick cup in the morning rush? For nearly half the price of commercial single-cup brewers, our innovative 32oz Table Top French Press and Travel French Press Mug  will save you time, money, and space. Made of durable double-walled, vacuum sealed stainless steel and superfine mesh for perfect filtration, our reimagined french press is perfect for any environment – at home, in the office or on the run, you deserve a fresh cuppa.

To use, simply pour hot water over coarse coffee grounds – using a ratio of 1 tablespoon for 4 fluid ounces of water – or loose tea leaves then steep for about 4 minutes or longer, if desired. For a rich taste, be sure to stir the top of the grounds with a wooden stirrer so all the coffee becomes submerged in water. Once time is up, plunge the stopper slowly and take a sip of your fresh brew.

The best part about using a french press method is the simple cleanup; just toss wet grounds into the trash (or compost for gardening) and rinse out. You won't have to wait long for your second cup if you use our travel mug – the secret bottom compartment is perfect for storing extra grounds.

Whether you're on-the-go or would like a mess-free way to brew fresh coffee, the french press method is definitely worth a try.

Brew your first french press cuppa with our small-batch espresso for a divine taste. For more information on our coffee and brew gear, please contact us.
