Medium roast with a clean aftertaste and very pleasant acidity...
This was one of the first blends we came up with and continues to be our best seller. When we set out to craft this coffee blend we wanted to create something that appeals to all, has great flavor and wonderful value. It took some time to get the beans right beans and dial in their roasts but since we have this has become a great everyday coffee. Africa and the Americas come together in this one. Our Cup of Joe has a well balanced body, clean aftertaste, and a great aroma.

Note from the Roaster:
Crafting this coffee was special for me because we set out to dedicate it to the men and women who have served our country. As a veteran myself I can remember the countless times coffee brought much needed solace to me while serving in the military. It was in my time of service where I began to develop a love for coffee, at first while on a High Endurance Cutter in the United States coast Guard and soon after in the Army collecting coffee packets from MREs and brewing them up for the whole platoon, as good coffee is hard to come by when you are underway or deployed I began to seek out coffee in ports of call and of course mom would send me whole bean care packages. That coffee provided comfort and warmth, strength and energy, a time for reflection and space for conversation, and that is our goal here with the Cup of Joe.
Light brown in color. This roast is generally preferred for milder coffee varieties. There will be no oil on the surface of these beans, because they are not roasted long enough for the oils to break through to the surface.
- Light City | Half City | Cinnamon | New England
Medium brown in color with a stronger flavor, and a non-oily surface. This roast is often referred to as the American roast because it is generally preferred in the United States.
- City | American | Breakfast
Rich, dark color with some oil on the surface and with a slight bittersweet aftertaste.
Shiny black beans with a oily surface and a pronounced bitterness. The darker the roast, the less acidity will be found in the coffee beverage. Dark roast coffees run from slightly dark to charred and the names are often used interchangeably which can be very confusing.
- High | Continental | New Orleans | European | Viennese | Italian | French
